Business Block Liaison As a representative for your block, you'll be responsible for regular communication with member and non-member businesses and bringing any ideas and concerns to the district on their behalf.
Design Committee Members of this committee focus on beautification of the physical environment and safety through cleanups, crime prevention (CPTED), signage/banners, lighting, landscaping, street furniture and gateway projects.
Promotions & Events Committee This committee focuses on increasing customer traffic via marketing and promotional materials, brochures, and planning retail events and festivals/events.
Organization Committee Members of this committee focus on organizational aspects of the district such as: addressing the structure and methods of internal processes of the district association; recruiting and retaining members; enlisting, retaining and recognizing volunteers; identifying fundraising opportunities.
Economic Restructuring Committee As a representative on this committee, you will focus on current market forces and long-term solutions via building inventory, vacancy lists, property owner involvement, and targeted business recruitment efforts.
Awareness & Safety Committee This committee focuses on district relations with TPD, serves as liaison with our 6th Ave CLO officer, and aims to offer anti-racism training and updates on how best to coordinate our response to those experiencing lack of housing and mental illness who frequent our district.
